Session times

Monday – Thursday
Morning session 9am – 12pm
Afternoon session 12pm – 3pm
(children have their lunch at the beginning of this session)
All day session 9am – 3pm

Friday – Rising 5’s
Morning session 9am – 12pm
This session is a more structured experience and is only available to children currently attending the Pre-school and who will be starting Reception class the following Autumn.

Our fees are currently: 
£14.25 per session
£28.50 for all day
School Lunches can be ordered in at a cost of £2.10 per day

Funded Children
The term after your child is 3 years old they become eligible to access 15 free hours of childcare. This is funded through a government grant called the Early Years Education Entitlement (EYEE).  You can claim the total of these hours across two settings.

To claim these hours at the start of each funding period you will need to complete a Parental Agreement.  On your first claim you will need to provide your children Birth Certificate or Passport.

Non Funded Children
There is a £25 Registration Fee which includes a Polo or Sweatshirt.

 

Typical session

  • Focused adult led activity planned by keyworkers – taking from the children’s next steps and individual interests.
  • Free play (inside and outside)
  • We operates a snack bar for 45 minutes in each session – We offer a variety of fruit, vegetables and carbohydrate
  • Outside or physical activities
  • Story time, circle time and singing
  • A collection password system will be set up with you in order that your child is collected safely at the appropriate time.

The setting is set up to support child – initiated activities, with no emphasis on an ‘end product’. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). It is a comprehensive statutory framework that sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to five. It covers three prime areas of learning and four specific areas of learning these are listed below with some examples of activities which encourge development within these area.

At all times we maintain a 1:4 adult to child ratio for the 2 year olds and a 1:8 ratio for 3 – 5year olds.
